Trustees Seek JEDD Working Group Members

The St. Albans Township Trustees invites individuals to apply to be part of a JEDD Working Group that will provide input for the creation of the JEDD.

Applications must be received by 12:00pm November 4, 2022.

Since April 2022, the Community Advisory Committee has met 10 times to formulate the St. Albans Township Comprehensive Plan. The plan is currently in the adoption phase and is expected to be formally adopted by the Township Trustees in November 2022.

One clear recommendation of the Comprehensive Plan is the creation of a Joint Economic Development District(s) at strategically located areas within the Township. The JEDD is one tool the Township can utilize to help slow or prevent future annexation to a municipality.
